Brad at sunrise. He actually wanted to stand on the water. But, I said, "no".
Rose comtempting, that's one big stickie thingie.
Brad's thinking, "Look at me. I have square shoulders just like Uncle Charles."
Note Moose wondering if he can pee on that thing without hurting himself.
Rock to north east of Brad's place. He calls it praying puppy.
Rose saying, that's one big tummy, boy.

Ya Know- that is a good one Skipper-
ReplyDeleteGreat place to hang your hat when it's -30 and a ft. of snow. That old Brad has a good looking place there! and no ice on the pond. Throw in some decoys and it would be just like home. Does he want some turkeys?
Good for you guys! See where Brad has his "Jack" smile going!
the old Trapper
Hi Mikie,
ReplyDeleteHe does have one decoy on that pond. It looks kinda lonely so it could probably use a dozen more. A couple of live turkeys would lend a homie sort of feel to the back yard. We could do a lot to help this boy, i.e. we could stock some fish in the pond and build a duck blind out of native bushes. We'd have to stay there full time to feed the livestock cause there ain't much to eat on that desert. Lots of rock and sand. And like my friend Jim Emtman says just when you get them livestock used to eating sand they die.

Hey Skipper - The one, lone decoy on the 'lake' nearly lost his life during the Christmas break when Lucca, the weimer, fell into the pool after attempting to coax the duck 'in' for nearly 30 minutes. Luckily, Captain Brad was ready and jumped in after her to save her from drowning. Hmmm. Thought all dogs could swim. Could someone 'google' that for us?
ReplyDeleteSorry I missed meeting you and Rose in person. Hey Mike, when are you coming to the southwest to visit????
My best. Tambo
