Recent events

Did anyone notice during the last ten days that,

• President Obama stated that his administration would be going after business's organized off shore to avoid income tax.
• Warren Buffet in his 2009 annual address to his stockholders stated that the current mess was the result of 1. greed, 2. stupidity, and 3. herd mentality.

Hmmm sure supports some thoughts I had a while back. :-)

Now for the "bigness" idea. Can the monopolies idea and resultant 1930's regulations somehow be used to address this problem? After, of course, we put back in the "guts" we ripped out of these regulations during the last twenty years. ~too big~ is not a new concept after all.
